Biographical Info
Jim has been an independent, fee-only financial advisor for over twenty years. Prior to founding his advisory practice in 2002 – which became Springwater Wealth in 2013 – he spent more than a decade living and working in Europe as a merchant banker, advising companies and high net worth investors on a range of financial matters.
Born and raised in Santa Cruz, California, Jim holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Business Administration in Finance and International Business from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He also holds the professional credentials of Certified Financial Planner® and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®.
The Springwater team is privileged to serve clients across the country. Jim and his colleagues provide divorcing clients with objective advice and guidance that empowers them to make smart, informed decisions about their finances before, during and after the divorce process.
Divorce-related financial advice is provided on a flat-fee basis, with a capped, not-to-exceed quote stated in advance. Clients have unlimited, as-needed access to the entire Springwater team.
