Ethical Issues in Mediation To be an excellent mediator requires excellent ethics. Come join our presenters for a discussion on best practices in approaching mediation ethically. We will walk through some common ethical dilemmas that you might see in practice. We welcome your questions, insight, and thoughts!

 

PRESENTERS

Kate Hall is a Collaborative attorney and mediator in Salem. She finds meaning in her practice working to helping families avoid trauma while navigating change. She's been a mediator since 2012 and has mediated approximately 1,000 cases involving neighbors, small claims, landlord/tenant, custody and parenting time, divorce, and businesses.

 

Theodore (Ted) W. Reuter earned his joint J.D./M.B.A and law degree from Willamette University in 2008 and has approximately 15 years of experience litigating matters in state and federal courts, both at trial and on appeal. Ted has managed the Ontario Oregon Office of the Oregon Law Center and spent four and a half years as an assistant disciplinary counsel for the Oregon State Bar where he brief and argued several matters before the Oregon Supreme Court.
