As divorce professionals, we try our best to assess the parties' collaborative capacity at the start of a matter but sometimes obstructions don't become apparent until mid-way through the case--what to do then? What themes or behaviors may indicate a need for a professional to withdraw. How should withdrawal be handled? What are some ways the professional or professional team can get creative to redirect a problematic case before deciding to withdraw?
